We exhibit an enormous variety of local crafts & souvenirs ranging from locally made stuffed animals, leather & wood items. So why not take home a momento of your visit to the Bunyas. The General Store sells most groceries, household and personal items, as well as stamps, newspapers, ice and gas refills. It's also the place for walking track maps and tourist information. No need to bring any birdseed - we sell birdseed only for feeding behind the kiosk.
There is plenty to do and explore on and around the Bunya Mountains.
Often there are special events.
Cedar Vale historical museum is voluntarily run and is usually open one day over the weekend, walking tracks, bird feeding, tennis courts, Petanque court, Art gallery, enjoy tea and bunya nut scones in the cafe, BBQ’s are available around the mountain and picnic areas.
We also have on site Just Relax a gift store which offers art, fountains, jewellery, crystals, wind chimes, foot patches , ear candles and much more, they also have an infra-red sauna and offer facial and body massages.
Also on site is just Indulge which stock homemade fudge and chocolate, also lollies, licorice and other goodies..
We also offer a take-away pizza menu, orders in before 4.30pm ready for evening pick up.
Around the mountain you have wineries such as Rimfire and Rangemore to visit. Also maidenwell observartory, local cheese factory in Kingaroy. Doll museum, taste the local peanuts in Kingaroy and much much more..
