Before you come to enjoy and explore, there are some things you need to know:

1. Bookings for accommodation may only be held against a deposit equivalent to 1 nights accommodation charge.
   
2. Yes, we accept MasterCard, Visa, Amex, BarterCard or Bankcards, and we have EFTPOS facilities. Personal cheques may only be accepted when prior arrangements have been made.
   
3. The full balance of the accommodation booked must be paid on arrival - check our price list here...
   
4. If for any reason you do not arrive and have not notified us in advance, you will continue to be responsible for and shall be billed for the full accommodation charge.
   
5. Cancellations: Regardless of any other considerations, 15% of the deposit paid is forfeited to cover our administration cost and cost of providing a refund. Refunds of deposits are not automatic. It depends upon the accommodation booked and the time of the year. Ask at time of booking. As a general rule, let us know a week in advance that you are unable to come, and we may be able to transfer your deposit to another time of the year or to other accommodation.
   
6. It is sensible to book a place in the Restaurant at the time of booking your accommodation. We give preference to guests, however at busy times the restaurant is not able to cope with all of those who seek to dine at the Cider Gum Restaurant.
   
7. Bring some warm clothing. Temperatures are a little cooler on the Mountain.
   
8. Petrol and Diesel are not available on the mountain. Fill up your vehicle before arriving to avoid any inconvenience.
   
9. The law does not allow us to sell packaged beer or other alcoholic beverages, however you are welcome to order those refreshments from the bar in the Restaurant or Brasserie.
   
10. At 10am. and again at 4pm our staff feed the birds. Normally hundreds of birds are about in the complex area for most of the day. When the weather is particularly windy, or at particular times of the year, native bird feed is more appetising, so bird numbers decline, sometimes for only a few hours, sometimes for a whole day. Predator birds occasionally scare the other birds at the complex for short periods.
    
11. Please take your refuse home. National Park Rangers and our staff care deeply for our very special environment. We encourage our guests to enjoy but not spoil our pristine area.
